After your session, your photos will be uploaded to a private online photo gallery. You'll choose your favorites. The photos are high resolution and perfect for printing for display in your home, or sharing with family and friends on social media. Please note, I work with families of 5 or less at this time only.
Family time at the Eiffel Tower is time well spent! You'll have amazing memories of your family's time in Paris to cherish forever. Would you like another location other than the Eiffel Tower? Just contact me, it's totally possible!
what's the best time of day for my session?
We conduct our family photo sessions in the morning, depending on the season, usually between 8:00 am and 11:00 am. This is best for nice lighting and we'll have a few less tourists in our images. If you can only do an afternoon session, or evening session, please contact me and I'll be happy to discuss options with you.
how large can our group be?
At this time I welcome families of 5 people or less. Unfortunately, I'm unable to accommodate larger families or groups at this time.
can i see some more of your family work?
Sure! Please visit my blog:
my child is fussy, i'm worried about that!
Don't worry! I've worked with many children from newborn to teenagers and I love them all. I've even had children tell me they didn't want their photo taken at all but we ended up with beautiful family images! The best advice for your photo session is to:
- Determine how long your child can be content for photos. We have sessions starting at one hour in one location, two hours in two locations, and three hours in three locations. In my experience, a one hour session, in one location, is best for small children. If you don't think your child can be content for an hour, we can always trim the hour session, but it's advised to give ourselves this time in case the child needs a snack, etc.
- Ensure there are diversions for the photo session. Bring along any snacks or toys for the little ones. For older children, get them excited about seeing the Eiffel Tower and having some great photos to show their friends.
- I tend to work faster than the typical photographer, particularly with families, so that the children don't get bored. If the child (or children) get hungry we can always stop in a cafe for a bite to eat or refreshment. Often also there are carousels nearby, and children may like to ride it.
photos, what's included?
You'll be provided with professionally edited digital photos, sent via a private link to a personalized portrait gallery. Your professionally edited images are high resolution and in JPG format, which allows you to download them to share with family and friends on social media or email, and also to print to display in your home as beautiful wall art or a photo album.
how do i find you for our session?
We agree on the time and place we'll meet. Usually it's near a major metro station and quite easy to find. During our session, for transportation we can walk (especially if the weather is nice), take metro (which is fast and convenient), or take a taxi.
what's the weather like?
It rains a lot in Paris and is often cloudy. The good news is that the city is beautiful in the rain, it actually shimmers. It's always a good idea to take an umbrella along with you, especially in the winter. Our sessions are done rain or shine, but I'll send you more information on weather options. In the meantime, check out the rainy day gallery here, and you can see how beautiful Paris is in the rain. A lot of my clients get really worried about rain, they worry their photos won't turn out, they worry they may get wet. As it rains so much in Paris, we have to work with the weather or we'd never get out if we never went out in the rain. Instead of fearing the rain, think of it as a fun Paris adventure, to be able to share an umbrella with the ones you love in the Paris rain, it's distinctly Parisian. Last winter it rained every single day in Paris. I shot beautiful images of families in the rain.

what if i want props like balloons for my photo session?
Some people like balloons, flowers or other props for their photo session. I can help you find a store that has balloons or a flower shop.
how do we get around?
Transportation is not provided but you can get anywhere in Paris fairly quickly by public transport, such as metro, bus or by taxi. Transportation during our session, if required (i.e. metro, Uber, taxi), is not covered in the cost of your session. Most transport costs are between 2-20€ for anywhere we will go, or if not too far and you're up for it, we can walk. Please make sure you have euro cash, as most taxis in Paris do not accept credit cards.
