Sun and a proposal in Montmartre, Paris
It was a rare sunny winter's day in Paris, and not just coming from the sky. Coming from the faces of two beautiful people named Stephen and Kayla, visiting Paris from the United States.
Stephen had contacted me for his surprise proposal. He wanted something a little different than the Eiffel Tower, and we decided Montmartre would be a perfect spot. I love Montmartre for so many reasons! It's charming, on the hill with a great view of the city, and there are colorful buildings, which is so nice in the gray of winter.
Stephen wanted to propose at the famous Wall of I Love You's. This wall is created out of blue tiles, with the words "I Love You" written in 311 languages. In a world filled often with hate, to have such a moving symbol of love is a very popular spot in Paris.
It was here that Stephan asked Kayla to spend the rest of her life with him and she said yes! It was a heartwarming proposal. We spent the rest of our time together roaming around the quaint streets of Montmartre.
This couple was lovely. Joyful, happy--Kayla was beaming and it made me so happy to see her so happy! I think their love clearly shows in all of their images.
The sun came out, for sure, but this couple also rained down sun on me. I wish for them a lifetime of joy and happiness!
