Parisian engagement photo shoot in the Latin Quarter
Anyone who knows me, knows the Latin Quarter, on the left bank of the Seine River in Paris, is one of my favorite places. The areas around Notre Dame Cathedral I find the most charming in the city, and that's no easy feat as there are dozens of super charming spaces.
Most visitors to Paris want to have a Paris photo shoot at the Eiffel Tower. It's so simply Parisian and symbolizes love and magic.
But every now and then I get a couple who would like to do something different. Quinn was one such person. He explained that he and his fiancée Devika had become engaged in the United States, where they live, and that he wanted to do a different sort of Paris engagement photo shoot.
Instead of the Eiffel Tower, he wanted to be photographed on quaint cobblestone streets, by cafés, and mixing in with general Parisian life. I was very happy to oblige!
We started our session at Pont Neuf, which is the oldest bridge in Paris. We than walked to one of my favorite spots, Place Dauphine, then over to Notre Dame, around to the very famous English language bookstore, Shakespeare & Company, and finally to the river.
I loved the easy interaction between this couple and their playfulness. I wish them a lifetime of married bliss!
