Fun family Easter photo shoot at the Eiffel Tower | Paris family photographer

It's Easter Sunday!

Easter is such a wonderful holiday. In addition to celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, if you're a Christian, it's also a time to celebrate life, and life renewed The winter brown grass is green again, the spring flowers like hyacinth and tulips brightly color the landscape, and the promise of warmer days ahead without jackets and mittens, and carefree days looking at puffy clouds in the sky.

Okay, so I'm no poet, but..I did have the most wonderful Easter Sunday with a gorgeous family from the United States, who for the moment are living in and loving Germany.

What a beautiful family

Stacy had contacted me about taking some Easter Sunday photos of her family, which includes husband Nathan and their two boys, ages 4 and 6. I love family photography, I think it's really important to capture these memories as children grow so quickly. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed working with this family. Stacy explained that most of the images she liked would be just of the boys alone. They were dressed in the most beautiful blue outfits, and I was so impressed with all the detail, even down to their wonderful shoes.

The boys as brothers had so much chemistry, fun, and laughter. We also brought in the entire family for many spring-time shots, and let me tell you, this is one pretty family. Not only in the way they look, but in their spirit. Very kind, very fun, and very rewarding for me to capture this precious time in Paris.

Eiffel Tower and blooming trees

Spring has come a little later this year in Paris, so it was a bit of a challenge finding some blooming trees, but there indeed were two lovely blooming trees in the Jardins de Trocadero, across the river from the Eiffel Tower. Additionally, the grass is nice and green and the planters are filled with spring flowers, including hyacinth, which smell heavenly!

The Trocadero area on an Easter Sunday was filled to the brim with tourists, taking in a beautiful view of this famous landmark. But no matter what, I was still able to get some great images, as you can see below.

I had the boys have some fun too, and not just boring poses. Taking advantage of a tree that was blooming, I had the boys chase each other around the tree. We also got a super charming series of photos with the boys carrying their Easter baskets. Simply wonderful.

It's my privilege and pleasure to capture these family memories in Paris. If you'd like to capture your family to treasure forever, please check out more information here.

Thank you Stacy and Nathan for contacting me, I hope to see you and your gorgeous family again soon!
