A sunny day, a sunny surprise proposal on Pont Alexandre
The sun hadn't been out in a few weeks', gray and glum, Paris is a gorgeous city, but the winter can be a bit tough. But how fortunate were we that for this surprise winter proposal in Paris, the sun was out in full force!
Walking along the most beautiful bridge in Paris, the Pont Alexandre, Nicholas took his love Paula aside to talk to her. Then, he gave her a small gift and the next thing, he was down on one knee asking for her hand in marriage.
She didn't see it coming, but was so happy and it was really touching to see!
In fact, the absolute love this couple has for each other was really powerful. I asked Nicholas about it. He said from the moment he met Paula, he knew she was the one for him. I asked what they loved about each other and they shared all of the wonderful things they love to do together, their similar interests, and one important thing, they shared the same values.
We began our photo journey on Pont Alexandre, and then walked to the Place de la Concorde. The fountains don't run in the winter, but the fountains were still gleaming in the bright January sunshine.
Then, we walked through the quite pleasant Tuileries Gardens and finished our time together at the Louvre Museum.
For anyone looking for a unique proposal with a view of the Eiffel Tower, this is a great route!
I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this captivating couple. They made me feel good. You hire a photographer to capture images you'll want to treasure your whole life, but my clients don't realize they're also giving me a gift.
Thank you Nicholas and Paula, and many happy wishes to you for a blessed life together!
